I remember the first advert that everest used, Ted Moult…Bless. It was the best, that first advert had and still has everyone talking about it when double glazing is mentioned, even to this day, and younger people can remember it from their parents generation.

As for the phrase ‘fit the best’? That was brilliant, when all is said and done, as a company, Everest is the clear winner, and let me explain why? I think they win by an absolute mile in my opinion.
Ted Moult, had a mountain of credibility at the time. Unfortunately, he ended his own life as a result of a severe bout of depression in 1986. But most people remember him as the first strawberry man (pick your own) some people claimed. The British people loved him and therefore he was credible, and believable, with a feather in his cap (pardon the pun) Another reason why Everest are clear winners in my view, when compared to Anglian lets face it there are only two really big companies, the others are just regional, but comparing the big two. pound for pound Anglian and Everest have an equal share of the market fluctuation between 11 & 13% each respectively.
Margins of gross profit can easily be summed up in so far as anglian has some 120 showrooms + nationwide 120 lots of monthly rent, rates, energy bills, receptionists, cleaner maintenance etc etc. Everest on the other hand don’t have any. So the smarter of the two, to spell it out is everest. Bigger prices, bigger image, bigger profit, and in my view a shit product compared to anglian. You do the sums.! For that reason I declare Everest the winner.
    PS.
For the record, I have never worked for them, I don’t know anyone who works for them, I never bought any of their products, and I dislike the guy who owns them, nevertheless I respect him and stand by what I have written…

I think the Weatherseal one is best. Who said that all Double Glazing adverts are tacky?
