There’s been a battle going on for months now in the trade magazines and ezines as to which is the best environmental option:

Timber or uPVC?

It seems to me that all the competing arguments have finished in deadlock. And, of course, there’s also the aluminium guys keen to argue their side.

So, I think we need to sort this out democratically.

There’s a new poll in the right hand column where you can vote for the window option you feel has the best ‘green’ credentials, and I’ll announce the winner at the end of October. I’ve added my vote to get things going:
