In a previous post I commented that double glazing companies are having to fight hard to win the online PR war, especially the national companies such as Anglian, Everest and Safestyle UK.
Since then I’m finding that I’m getting quite a lot of fake customer testimonials being posted on this website. You’ll see the type of thing on the following pages:
Anglian Home Improvements appear on BBC’s Watchdog programme
Recommended Double Glazing Companies
Anglian Windows closes Rochdale factory
To be honest, I find it quite funny that staff from mainly Anglian Home Improvements think they can post this nonsense on my website and think I’ll not comment about it.
So, how do I know they’re fake customer testimonials?
Well, firstly, you have to question why anyone would actively take the time to find review websites on the internet and tell the world about what a wonderful company it was that fitted their conservatory or windows. Why would they?
The main reason I know they are fake customer testimonials is because I can track how these people land on my website. Often, they will type into Google phrases like ‘Anglian Windows complaints’ and then click through to Renegade Conservatory Guy. If you were a happy Anglian customer why would you type in ‘Anglian Windows complaints’ and then start posting positive comments?
Also, when these people post the comments they always leave fake email addresses. I send emails to these addresses and they either bounce back, or I get no response back. Why is this?
I understand why companies need to do this. Anglian, for example, install over 60,000 jobs per year, whereas most double companies will be lucky to fit 1,000 jobs per year. So, Anglian are bound to have a small percentage of dissatisfied customers who will want to have a go at them. These companies have to fight back.
So, in the future if you wish to post fake customer testimonials on the Renegade Conservatory Guy website, can you please try do them on this page.
It makes sense for all this stuff to be in one place.
So, no matter how far fetched your fake testimonial is, please post it below:

I had Safestyle UK around to quote me for 3 uPVC windows, and they did me a fantastic deal.
Initially, the salesman quoted £22,000, but they have a special offer on at the moment, and I was able to negotiate down to £1,200!
The salesman was very efficient and was only in our home for 6 hours doing his presentation and pitch. Can you believe, he didn’t actually need to measure the windows - he was very clever.
Thank you Safestyle UK!!!

To be fair to MR.FLETCHER WHO HAS JUST HAD AMAZING INSTALLATIONS he does have a website which strangely enough sells roofline as well.
I would love to be able to write off these posts as bogus as easily as you but it’s hard to be 100% sure which is why they aren’t really that amusing . I think you referred to them before as being criminal and fraudulent in the PR blog . I hope they catch the *****s sending them and give them a good flogging.
My guess is that MR FLETCHER is working for Anglian as well as his own roofing company or has cut a deal with an Anglian rep to refer anyone interested in windows ,roofline or conservatories. Why roofline? Because he’ll make more from his commission from Anglian than fitting it with his own company with none of the hassle.
But he might argue that he got such a good deal for having both his windows and rooftrim done it wasn’t worth doing it homself with his own company?
