You might be surprised to hear that this website is not the only double glazing related blog on the internet. Actually, there’s loads out there and most of them are not worth me mentioning here.
I’m actually quite keen for others from our industry to start blogs, not least because at the moment Renegade Conservatory Guy stands out like a sore thumb!
Anyway, I thought I’d share with you the best of the rest:
Not sure where this guy from South Wales came up with the name, but I’m keeping my eye on what he’s got to say. I think he’s likely to be my main competition over the coming months, and he’s keen to challenge perceptions in the industry:

Double Glazing & Photovoltaic Blog
This is probably one of the longest established blogs, and specialises mainly in insulating glass and photovoltaic technology. I must admit, it’s way above my head, especially the German bits!
A wordpress blog (like mine) which claims to be the web’s favourite conservatories, double glazing and doors blog in the UK. Have a look yourself and see if you agree.
The Glazing guru offers ‘Red Hot Information for The Double Glazing Company Owners that want to make a killing this year!’ This website has been around since January and offers marketing strategies for those in the double glazing industry.
In his latest post he suggests we all need our marketing plans in order or:

Double Glazing on the Web blog
Finally, this blogger has been recommending that people should watch Natural Born Sellers on Thursday night, and then come to his company to buy the windows. Cheek of it!
There’s also a few companies creating blogs to feed traffic to their main consumer websites, such as the Safestyle Blog. We have also created the Conservatory Outlet blog which is a bit more sensible than the stuff I post on here. Crucially, we have created a live feed to our Conservatory Outlet home page, which Google should like as it will be continually being refreshed.
