Help me choose a new logo.
I’ve decided it’s time I invested in my Renegade Conservatory Guy website and get a new logo sorted out.
And I need your help!
I submitted a contest on the 99designs.com website – a great resource where designers from around the world compete to design logos, websites, in fact any type of design work. The problem is that I’m struggling to make my mind up as there’s 3 or 4 designs that I really like.

Then, I’d really appreciate your vote by posting a comment below. As I’m undecided then I’ll go for the design that gets the most votes.
Also, I could do with a catchphrase. One of the designers came up with ‘Breaking Down Doors in the Double Glazing Industry’ which is quite good, but could it be improved upon?

I like 12 and 13 best of all, I get a professional but hard hitting vibe from them which I think matches your blog well.
As for a tag line “throwing stones from the glass house” is the best I can come up with on a Bank Holiday!

Thanks for your thoughts. I agree that #12 and #13 look professional, but do you not like the humour of #10 and #11?
Like your tagline idea – maybe just ‘people in glass houses…’

I think the humour comes across in your posts, I’d go professional with the logo to balance that. I think it would make/keep the blog more “quotable” within blogdom/mainstream press than with an overly humorous approach.

I think that number looks the best, but the blue one on number 13 is the most business like, so depends on the look you are after

I like number 12 best as I think this banner will look good on your site and I also think the text ‘renegade conservatory guy’ could be used in other areas (websites, print etc…) without all the other elements of the design and still look good.
I do like the ‘beam’ effect behind the mystery man on number 8 though as it looks like he’s projecting his thoughts – which you are.
As for a catchphrase I’ll have to think about that a bit more and get back to you.
Does nobody like the bird pooing on the conservatory roof?

“…putting you in the frame”
“Framing and shaming in double glazing industry”
And no… i dont like the bird poo one!
9 for the style & design, 11 with the strapline from number 10. Possible straplines…
“Telling you as it is”
“For industry comments & opinions”
“Blazing the glazing industry”
14 is my fav.
